Frequently asked questions

Why not just use a hairdryer?

Hairdryers rely on heat rather than airflow, take far longer, and can burn skin under a thick coat where the temperature is not obvious. They also do nothing to remove loose undercoat.

Is it safe near the ears and eyes?

Keep the nozzle well away from the ear canal and never direct it into the eyes. Air at this pressure is painful and can damage the eardrum. Use a low setting around the head or dry that area by hand.

How do I introduce a nervous pet to it?

Run the unit across the room first so the noise becomes familiar, then work up over several sessions starting at the rear legs. Never begin at the face. The noise, not the air, is almost always the objection.

Why does force drying matter in the UAE?

Because many pets here swim, and a thick coat left damp in humidity develops yeast and bacterial problems quickly. Getting a double coat properly dry to the skin is very difficult without forced air.
