How often should I give my bird treats?

Small amounts daily are fine, but keep treats to a modest share of the diet. The bulk of the diet should be a complete pellet plus fresh vegetables.

Is millet spray bad for budgies?

What foods are dangerous for birds?

Avocado, chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, onion, garlic, and anything salty or containing xylitol are all toxic to birds. Fruit pits and apple seeds should also be removed. If your bird eats any of these, contact a vet immediately, as birds deteriorate very quickly.
