How do I apply it without upsetting my cat?

Spray onto your hands or a cloth and stroke it through the coat rather than spraying directly at the cat. Avoid the face, ears and genital area entirely. Most cats tolerate this far better than being sprayed.

My cat smells. Should I use cologne?
