1. Proper Housing

• Space: Rabbits need ample space to move around, explore, and stretch their legs. A small cage or hutch is not enough for their daily exercise. Ideally, they should have a large pen or a designated room where they can roam freely in a bunny-proofed space.

• Safe and Comfortable Area: Make sure the area is safe for your bunny to hop around. Remove any hazards like exposed wires or small objects that could be ingested. A soft bedding such as hay or paper-based bedding is ideal for their comfort.
• Litter Box: Rabbits can be litter trained easily. Place a litter box in the corner of their living area, and fill it with rabbit-safe litter (avoid clay-based litter). Bunnies usually choose a corner to relieve themselves, making training fairly easy.
